GSQA – From ASP to SaaS: A Service Ahead Of Its Time
In 1996, EMNS developed an enterprise class, Internet based supplier quality management application. The application tracked all inbound material quality and analyzed key supplier metrics. Both customers and markets drive GSQA features. GSQA delivers world class capabilities to both large and small manufacturers. EMNS developed GSQA as a native SaaS application. All features have been developed under this service model.
As its anchor client, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) has realized significant financial return on its investment. As a leader in producing high quality tires, Goodyear uses GSQA to protect it’s brand, as they use it to process more quality data and documents globally to ensure that the tires it produces exceed market quality expectation.
EMNS began in 1986 within AT&T Network Services. The company then migrated to Lucent Technologies where it developed leading Internet based applications. In 2000, EMNS became a venture spin out of Lucent Technologies.
Today, EMNS provides hosting for GSQA. Both Fortune 100 manufacturers with facilities and suppliers in 70 countries, as well as small to middle market companies, use GSQA to determine correlation between inbound materials and finished good quality.
Most notable from the many successful audits of our hosting facilities, a customer team audited and validated all datacenter systems – power, security, network and operations – against Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines. The auditors found that the facility and operations rated best-in-class and meet NRC guidelines, and recently certified SOC 2 compliant by AICPA. The GSQA business segment reaches across several verticals including Chemicals, Food, Consumer Products, Distribution, Nuclear Fuel and Beverage.
